Most of the people reading this article have probably seen our previous posts about how to setup a Proxy in Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera web-browsers. Privatoria Proxy is Tor integrated. It means that you can use Tor in Internet Explorer using simple Proxy settings.
‘What is a proxy server?’ is a fair question to ask. It is actually a regular computer used to reroute Internet traffic. Why do you need it? Well, most people just want the ability to surf the Internet anonymously (a proxy hides your real IP address) and gain access to blocked content (e.g Netflix, Spotify). Using the Privatoria Proxy provider has a number of benefits. Our Proxy is TOR-integrated (NO TOR-browser needed) and gives you access to 63+ server locations.
How to use Tor in Internet Explorer?
Go to your Privatoria account and choose Anonymous Proxy service. Activate the check box ‘Tor’ and choose country for connection. Click ‘Save’.
Then go to Internet Explorer settings to set up a Proxy with Tor.
Well, it’s time for another one. This time it’s Tor Internet Explorer, the brainchild of Microsoft. It is in fact the first major web-browser with a graphical user interface. It has come a long way since it’s birth and does not embrace a leading market position now. It’s user-base is still alive though and deserves attention. So, without further ado, here are the detailed instructions on setting up a Tor proxy in the Internet Explorer web-browser.
1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to the ‘Tools’ tab
3. Select ‘Internet Options’
4. Click on the ‘Connections’ tab
5. Hit the ‘Settings’ button
6. Look over the list of settings options and click on the circle beside the one that you want.
7. Click ‘OK.’
Your proxy settings have now been changed. It may not be such a big surprise for you but at the end of the day all of these web-browsers are not all that different and unique. They are all based on the same technologies and implement those in similar ways. User interface settings, however, could be confusing at times. The Privatoria proxy service is extremely easy to setup and use even on Internet Explorer. Therefore, it can be a great option for you.
So you can easily use Tor in Internet Explorer
